Injection #6
My injection on sunday went ok, although when I got ready to do it I noticed lots of bubbles inside the syringe. I tried the usual way of shifting them, tapping the syringe etc. but I couldn't get them out, so I put the syringe back in the box and used a new one.
The flu 'sides' hit me again last night and I still feel rough. I have a banging head and the paracetemol doesn't seem to be shifting it though it has helped with the 'feverish' sensations. As I mentioned in my last post, last week is the first 'fluey' experience i've had, maybe i'd been lucky before but I wonder if it is connected in any way to the anti-depressant I started on 11 days ago. The pain in my hip returned yesterday morning toobut the paracetmol helps. I just hope I feel ok in time for work on thursday.

Hi Alan,
The very first injection I did, I had to drawn up the IFN from a vial. Didn't realize the vial had a metal cap, and managed to bend the needle at a 90 degree angle. Just slightly embarrassed... I simply bent the needle back, removed the cap and went about the procedure. I don't think that's medically recommended.
Last week, I had fluish sides and almost immediately following my injection. Since last night's injection, I've had no flu-like symptoms. There doesn't to be a rhyme or reason to the sides.
Peter
Hi Peter,
I agree.. just when you think you've gotten used to the 'sides' something else appears or even reappears. I thought I was in for another bout of 'flu' last night but I got up today feeling good, so who knows what tomorrow will bring.
Stay well
Alan
